The White Swan Yarmouth - Friday evenings

Postby Canary Wundaboy on Fri Aug 08, 2008 10:23 pm

Does anyone go there?
I was there this evening and there were around 200 bikes and bikers, but I knew nobody and felt very alone!!!!
Anyone I should look for next time?

It's a bit too far for us but someone told us about it a while ago, they said it was popular.

Did no one talk to you? I must say most bikers are very friendly, but i have found there are also alot who are not very chatty at all and don't seem to want to make conversation!

I dont think it was personal, most people seemed to be in little groups all chatting to each other, I just wasnt brave enough to go over.

Hi,

We (thats 5 of us, all friendly and none of us bite) are planning on riding to the white swan on Good Friday. We are meeting at the thickthorn services (where the A11 meets the A47) just west of Norwich at 17.30. Anyone who fancies joining us is more than welcome. If you want to tag along but not at thickthorn then just say where on the A47 or A11 (the furthest rider is coming in from Bury st Edmonds so anywhere east of Thetford) you will be and we will meet you.
Go to sleep..I will ride and live your dreams for you.

We are planning a ride from Ipswich/Bury area to Yarmouth (picking up on the way along the A11) Everyone welcome whatever your bike. Normally the Swan gets 300+ bikes up there but it is real friendly so dont worry if you aint been before. We are all geriatrics on the ride (average age is high 30s).
