New bike

Postby steveburrows on Tue Mar 27, 2012 6:13 pm

Got my new bike this weekend, a 2005 ZX6R. 14000 miles, one previous owner, fsh, with Akrapovik, Hugger, R&G tail tidy & tinted screen.(with all the original stuff)
Spent the last 2 days cleaning it, now need to get out on it!
No doubt the FZ will sit unloved at the back of the garage now!

Rides well, only problem is brakes are crap. Will bleed them this weekend, have ordered some syringes of ebay, and will try reverse bleeding this weekend (basically force fluid through the caliper bleed nipples up through the master cylinder, instead of down through the calipers. Hopefully will be much easier, quicker and get rid of bubbles better)
Didnt get out sooner, as it was in a shit state, and needed a massive clean up (fairing/tank off job)
