Sold my bike :(

Postby Paul on Tue Apr 03, 2012 5:14 pm

Had to sell my bike as really really need the cash for the house. So today is a sad day (Bike leaves me at the end of the week) :(

HOWEVER not all doom and gloom. The bike my misses bought months ago I shall be commandeering (Fortunately another R6 although in better cosmetic condition). So she will be bikeless but I’ll still have a steed to play with.

Still sad though as have owned it for 6 years and have had many many adventures. :boohoo:

It is never good having to say goodbye to a bike. I am hoping that we don't loose either of ours but with the wife being pregnant its something I have considered.
Still I may recommend we sell her's 1st........ (although the er6 is great fun to ride)

Hope the house keeps coming along nicely and you get back onto your own bike soon.

btw when are you going to do an update to your house project website??

That's what I said about the R6. That I'd always keep it and turn it in to a track bike when I could afford another. However... Needs must and it made more sense to get shot of mine rather than Amy's.

Wouldn't hers, as it's in nicer condition, have made more money?

Yes it would have made a bit more. However it made sense to sell mine as it sold for a decent price (not completly what i wanted tho) and i still have a bike which is pleasing to the eye
